Tarporley Special Events

Camden Canals & Narrowboat Association is involved in some very special events with Tarporley.

Usually held the last weekend of October [They will on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th in 2013]. Organised by and departing from the London Canal Museum - Tarporley is one of 3 narrowboats involved.

It is impossible, but our Halloween event gets bigger and more fantastic every year - we took over 400 witches and indescribable monsters through Islington Tunnel in 2012! Even more surprisingly they all came out the other end!

N.B. This is a family event - it is not suitable for adults without children, or for children under 16 without responsible adults accompanying.

Angel Festival

Tarporley attends the Angel Festival on the first Sunday in September each year. She is usually moored on the towpath side, between City Road lock and the bridge where Wharf Road, N1 crosses the Regent's Canal. There's always plenty to see and do. Why not come down to visit the boat and meet some of our volunteers?
