Camden Canals & Narrowboat Association is involved in some very special events with Tarporley throughout the year

Angel Festival

Tarporley attends the Angel Festival on the first Sunday in September.  She will be moored on the towpath side, between City Road lock and the bridge where Wharf Road, N1 crosses the Regent's Canal. There's always plenty to see and do. Why not come down to visit the boat and meet some of our volunteers?'

Halloween Boat Trips

Usually held the last weekend of October [They were on Friday 30th & Saturday 31st in 2009].  Organised by and departing from the London Canal Museum - Tarporley is one of 3 narrowboats involved.

It is impossible, but our Halloween event gets bigger and more fantastic every year - we took over 400 witches and indescribable monsters through Islington Tunnel in 2009!  Even more surprisingly they all came out the other end!
